The exams for the qualification and certification of NDT personnel are performed according to the standard requirement reported in EN 473 or ISO 9712.

In the case of Level 1 and 2 qualification, it is required for the applicant to answer to a written questionnaire and to performa practical test; in addition for level 2 it is requirement the production of an operative NDT instruction.
The examination for level 3 is much mure complex, and foresses a number of questionnaires to be answered, practical ezaminations and the production of NDT procedures; the exact structure of the exams depends on the experience, qualification and competence of the attendees.

Training courses for welding personnel and oprators

The final exams generally consist in the performance of a welding task, based on the qulification or certification required. Under specific circumstances, a written theoretical examination my be required.

IIW/EWF training courses (del tipo IWE, IWT, IWS o IWP e welding Inspectors)

Examinations are performed a the end of each module/course according to the examination rules reported in each relevant guideline. These shall be performed by the certifiaction department of IIS (the Italian ANB - Authorised National Body).
